Disaster Response Solutions - New Features for our Mass Casualty Trailers

Disaster Response Solutions has reconfigured its Gloves Module, Diagnostic Equipment Module, PPE Module, and Urinal/Bedpan Module.
Instead of including only a single larger module for each group of supplies which must be divided up between the
red, yellow and green treatment areas, there are now 3 containers of diagnostic equipment (which include gloves),
3 containers of PPE, and 3 containers of urinals and bedpans. This allows you to quickly distribute one of each
module into the red, yellow and green sections of the treatment area.

Barcoding Service
Individual barcodes can be added to all modules and equipment on your mass casualty trailer if needed to fulfill your inventory requirements.

NEW GRAPHICS OPTIONS AVAILABLE

Disaster Response Solutions can offer more complex graphics options to our customers who want to go beyond the basic graphics package included with our Mass Casualty trailers. These include options such as “Airbrush-Look Striping” and “Rear Safety Chevrons” as seen on the Mass Casualty trailers to the right.

NEW MODULES AVAILABLE

Ready Heat Blankets
The Ready Heat blanket functions like a giant hot pack.  Each blanket measures 34” x 48” and has 12 self heating areas.  It warms to a minimum 100°F in 10 minutes and will maintain that minimum heat for 6 hours.

New O2 Manifold
In addition to our fixed flow manifolds, we now offer an 8-outlet manifold with variable flow outlets. Outlets have 11 flow rate settings: 1/2, 1, 1-1/2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 15 LPM.

Collapsible IV Poles
When patients are on backboards in the treatment area, finding a way to hang IV bags can be a challenge. We are pleased to offer an inexpensive, collapsible IV pole that takes up minimal space in the trailer. IV poles should be ordered individually.

SSCOR QuickDraw Suction w/ Alkaline Batteries
Although we include manual suctions in our Airway Modules, Disaster Response Solutions now offers battery operated suction units as well. The SSCOR QuickDraw Suction is the ideal suction unit for MCI use. Small in size, up to four (4) units plus additional suction canisters can be placed in one of our standard Small Attached Lid Container. The alkaline battery does not have to be kept on a charger, has a 2 year shelf life, and will allow for approximately 3 hours of run time. When requesting a quote or ordering this option, please specify the number of suction units desired.

Self Heating Meals
Since MCI operations may be lengthy or occur in remote areas, we now offer Chef 5-Minute Meals. Unlike other MREs, these meals have over a 4-year shelf life, which makes them ideal for placement in MCI trailers. They are available in 7 flavors: beef stew, beef chili with beans, beef stroganoff with noodles, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken pasta parmesan, chicken cacciatore, and vegetable lasagna. We also sell them separate should you wish to buy some to keep in the station for emergency situations.

Nebulizers
The unfortunate fact is, terrorist groups are learning how to incorporate chemical agents, such as chlorine, into their improvised explosive devices.  This means that an explosive event may yield not only trauma patients, but patients in respiratory distress as well. The possibility of an accidental chemical release occurring is also high. In such cases, numerous patients may need nebulized bronchodilators. Our Nebulizer Module contains 50 nebulizers.

"Self-Help” Kits
In some MCIs, especially those involving natural disasters, victims may be able to help one another while waiting for sufficient medical personnel to arrive to assist. Our “Self-Help” kits are packaged in plastic bags and contain basic first aid supplies. They can be passed out to victims or bystanders to use on themselves or others.

IV Pressure Infusors
Since gravity isn’t always enough to ensure the proper flow of an IV, we offer IV pressure infusors. Contact us for pricing and quantity options.

Qwik-Cover Pre- and Post-Decon Kits
These kits include modesty covers, belongings bags, towels, booties and more, for victims to use both before and after going through decon. The supplies are packaged in two separate bags, one for pre- and one for post-decon, which are joined together to form a single unit to hand to victims.  Instructions are clearly printed on the outside of each bag. Kits are available in 3 sizes: Adult and Adult Large (packaged 20 per trailer module) and Youth (packaged 30 per trailer module).
